Our peer-led support groups bring together people who are going through or have gone through similar experiences. We discuss everything from grief, sadness, depression and various other topics. All are welcome.
FEED THOSE IN NEED
On a monthly basis, we provide warm meals, toiletries and blankets to those in need in our local community. By partnering with local organizations, we prepare fresh poultry, vegetables and fruits.
WELLNESS BOOT CAMPS
We are truly focused not only the mental health but also the physical health. Certain medications can cause weight gain. We have planned exercise
boot camps and meal plans to get them to their desired weight and health goals.
Another one of our main objectives is to be a big sister to youth girls and boys aged 15-24. We understand this a crucial age where youth can chose to go down the right or wrong path. We have created activities to support and guide them.
Each summer we will have our annual wellness retreats. These retreats will focus on the mental, spiritual and physical aspect. At future retreats, we plan to meditate, educate, exercise, and mainly focus on healing, understanding and finding ways to cope.
We seek to provide gently worn jackets, shirts and pants that are donated by our organizations as well as volunteers. Items are donated to people who may be looking for employment or just in need of new, warm clothing.
